Lalit Nagar has been involved in promoting various educational programs undertaken by STATE GOVERNMENT, especially promoting importance of Girl Child Education. He is also organizing workshops promoting importance of professional colleges and for the constituents.

With Focus on health awareness, Lalit Nagar has been initiator of preventive schemes in Tigaon among Rural and financial weaker section of his constituency. However for future the efforts are not restricted to his constituency; he has been working on initiating Rural awareness programs relating to diseases prevention. Also regularly organized Free Camps for Medical Checkups, distribute free medicines for poor and also regularly organized free eye camps for weaker section of society.

Lalit Nagar supported by dedicated office bearers and members of youth congress members, are working alongside all section of society for the upliftment of the region. Tigaon constituency which is predominantly Rural, is still behind in comparison to other NCR regions. The focus is to invite development programs both from Public and private sector for the up liftment of weaker sections and Rural constituents.

A Flagship scheme of UPA government, Lalit Nagar has been personally overlooking the implementation of jobs introduced under this scheme in the region. He has taken personal interest by working alongside all panchayats of the region and BPL cardholders to oversee the effective implementation and delivery of this scheme.
